Happy 2023 everyone! A new year brings with it new changes and new challenges. These last few months have been a whirlwind of activity at Aly Inks. I’ve been working hard at experimenting with new products and partnerships, and have a bit of news to share with you!
Unfortunate News – Retail Closure
Sadly, I’ve made the hard decision to close my retail store at the Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood. It was not an easy decision to make, as I loved seeing all of you in person and having a place that made us all feel happy to be in. Unfortunately the operating costs of a permanent physical location were too high to justify. But that is not the end of Aly Inks! I’m still here and making all of my wonderful products for you to enjoy! You can find my online store at AlyInks.com. For the moment, I only have a popular selection of my candles listed – but we are working on expanding those offerings in the near future.
Please stop in for a look soon, even if it’s just to do some virtual window shopping. In addition please consider leaving a review on Alyinks.com and/or Amazon.com. Those reviews are incredibly helpful for me in so many ways. It’s really amazing how much a few kind words can do to spread the word to others.
Candles are Back in Stock
Throughout the month of January, there was a massive shortage of candle jars for my 9.5oz sizes. It’s my most popular size and I couldn’t make any more of them to satisfy my lovely customers! Thankfully that nightmare has ended and we’re back in stock with everything in the 9.5oz size.

One of the things that I want to do more of in 2023 is shows – craft shows, craft fairs and farmers markets. This coming month, I plan to put together a schedule of local shows where I can see you in person again and show you the latest things I’ve been working on. My hope is to be able to share a full schedule for the year in my next newsletter. Stay tuned for more developments when you next hear from me!
That’s about it for news from Aly Inks for now. I really want to tell each of you how much your support has meant to me over the last few years. It makes me happy beyond measure to provide you with things that either brighten your day or someone else’s. This is truly my passion and what I want to be doing with my life.
