SOY WAX IS NATURAL AND NON-TOXIC: Soy wax is a natural, vegetable wax made from soybean oil. It is safe if it gets on your skin, and when you burn a soy wax candle, it will not harm your lungs.

SOY WAX BURNS CLEANLY AND EVENLY: Unlike paraffin wax, a wax commonly used in commercial candle-making, soy wax burns clean. Soy wax candles won’t leave soot on the top of the jar, on your walls, or in the air you breathe.

Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax. This makes it burn evenly. There won’t be excess wax on the sides of the jar creating what looks like a tunnel down the middle of the candle.

SOY WAX HAS A LONG BURN TIME: Soy wax burns slowly. Candles made with it last almost twice as long as those made with paraffin wax, making soy wax candles a much better value.

SOY WAX CLEANS UP EASILY: If soy wax spills, it can be cleaned up using just soap and water. This easy clean-up method means it’s really simple to wash out our jars so you can reuse them.

SOY WAX IS RENEWABLE: Soybeans are grown extensively in the U.S. which makes soy wax readily available and renewable. Beeswax, another natural wax, has a limited supply.

SOY WAX IS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY: Soy wax is carbon-neutral and safe for the environment. On the other hand, paraffin wax is made from petroleum. A soy wax candle is a greener choice for your home.

With all these benefits, it’s easy to see why we choose to use 100% soy wax for all our candles at Aly Inks.
